Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluations & Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic services to children with communication disorders.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Treat a variety of conditions, including fine motor delays, sensory processing challenges, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding difficulties, and developmental delays.
  • Family Education & Support: Work closely with families to teach and empower them to use therapeutic techniques at home to support treatment goals.
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain detailed patient records, document treatment plans, and track outcomes to ensure effective and continuous care.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care that ensures the best possible outcomes for each child.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Arkansas (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience: Experience in pediatric care preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for improving the lives of children.
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications preferred, but not required.
