Hematology/Oncology

Healthcare System is seeking a BC/BE Hem/Onc physician who is interested in joining a cohesive team of specialists in a new, state-of-the-art Comprehensive Cancer Center.  The ideal partner will enjoy the benefits of working in a nimble turnkey community practice where our physicians lead and develop the way we provide healthcare to a supportive and appreciative patient base! 

Recruitment Package:

• 3-year contract terms
• Guaranteed salary starting at $550,000
• Student Loan Repayment--$20k per year
• $50,000 annual quality bonus-guaranteed the first two years as you transition into the new practice
• APP supervision stipend
• Signing bonus
• 8 weeks PTO

Clinical Overview:

• A community style practice self-governed by its providers! Daily hands-on administrative support to complete the teams projects and ideas.
• 260-bed, acute care, not-for-profit hospital, 300+ physicians representing most specialties and multiple outpatient centers
• Collaborative team environment with 3 Hematologists/ Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, Breast Surgeon, Thoracic Surgeon, 2 Hospice and Palliative Care Physicians, and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider and Nurse Navigators
• Full range of consultative, inpatient and outpatient Hematology and Oncology Services, including industry-sponsored clinical trials, and genetic counseling and screening
• EPIC-Electronic Medical Records integrated system wide
• Oncology certified nursing staff
• Varian TrueBeam, Trilogy, IMRT, SRS, SBRT, and HDR
• Average 20-25 patients per day- ability to ramp up gradually
• Call 1:3—will go to 1:4. Advance practice providers aid call coverage support
