Michael Puyear is a Director of Business Development for The Medicus Firm in the Dallas, TX office and manages the Central United States territory (Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska). He is responsible not only for the development of new client relationships, but also for management of current client accounts.

Mr. Puyear has been in retained physician recruiting since 1996. Prior to joining The Medicus Firm he worked for two of the largest retained physician recruiting firms in the country, including being named Vice President of Marketing for one of these firms while consistently earning top production status awards. With his long history in this market space he is able offer valuable consultation to his current and prospective clients.

When Mr. Puyear is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, Tamara, and their five children, Moriah, Gabrielle, Josiah, Callista, and Constance. He also enjoys reading theology and studying church history.
