Jeff Katon, a Vice President of Business development with The Medicus Firm, is based in Dallas and works with clients all over the United States to position their searches for success.  He has been active in physician search in both internal and external recruiting roles as well as with contingent and retained firms since 1992.

Prior to joining Medicus Partners, Mr. Katon was the founder and Managing Partner of Absolute Recruiting Solutions, Inc., a national healthcare recruiting firm based in Irving, TX.

Before establishing ARS, Inc., Mr. Katon was Director of Physician Recruitment for the Baylor Healthcare System in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for executing and overseeing all physician recruitment efforts for the University Medical Center and 7 suburban hospitals. Later, he served as the Director of Physician Recruitment with Concentra Healthcare, Inc., headquartered in Dallas, Texas. There he and his team of recruiting consultants were responsible for all recruitment for Concentra's 230+ clinics, across 33 states. Mr. Katon started his recruiting career with Merritt, Hawkins and Associates in their research department, and then earned the role of Recruiting Consultant in the Southeastern region.

Based on his numerous contributions since joining the organization in 2004, Mr. Katon earned the MVP award for Medicus Partners in 2005 and 2006.

Mr. Katon attended the University of North Texas on a football scholarship where he earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in Management. He and his wife Rina have two children, and live in Flower Mound, Texas.
